Please read the following terms and conditions of Perfect Cakes before you place an order.
By accepting this cake agreement and paying a deposit, you agree to be subject to these Terms and Conditions.
Order Confirmation:
We do operate on a first-come, first-served basis. However according to the availability on our schedule, we may be able to accept orders at shorter notice.
A 50% deposit is required within three days of the quotation to confirm a booking.
No order will commence until a deposit has been paid & received.
Once the deposit has been paid, the quoted price remains fixed to the details in the quote.
Pricing:
Prices mainly depend on the design, therefore before place the order please discuss with us your requirements and get a quotation.
We have the right to change the quoted price(s) of orders, which have not confirmed by making advance payment.
Payment of advance secures the quoted price(s) & prevents any further price increases.
Payments:
Online Cake Purchases :
Currently payment is accepted via Visa, Master,Amex, Apple Pay etc. Full payment must be made at the time of purchase. you will be redirected to the relevant website to complete your purchase securely. An order confirmation email will sent to your email inbox once the payment have been successfully processed.
We offer Master card, Visa and PayPal at the moment.
Custom Cakes:
we will send you an online invoice to your email where you can click and pay on the spot.
Collection of cakes:
Cakes are to be collected from our premises at a prearranged time and date only.
We provide full instruction on the care and handling of your cake.
The best way to transport the cake is to have a passenger carry the cake box in the car. We don’t recommend to keep the cake on the floor
We do not take any responsibility for any damage that may occur to the cake once it has left our premises (whilst in your care) or after delivery to the venue.
However, if you request an emergency call-out, we will endeavor to restore the cake to its original presentation, at an agreed call-out fee but depending on the availability of our schedule.
Delivery :
Delivery of your cake can be organised for you. We require the suburb and postal code to provide a quotation. Cake deliveries are made within reasonable business hours depending on our delivery schedule.
Cake Tasting:
Sorry we do not offer this service regularly.
We offer cake tasting for wedding cakes at a cost every 3-4 months

Design and decorations:
Please note that cake design and colours can be subjected to slight variations according to the availability of decorative accessories and due to possible discrepancies in photo to screen resolution. Colours and designs cannot be guaranteed to be exact to supplied images or even cakes previously made by Perfect Cakes.
Although all care will be taken to produce a product as close to the brief as possible, Perfect Cakes will not directly copy / replicate the work of another cake artist and reserves the right to make changes either in design or content, to produce the best product possible for our customers.
Customers can request for writings on the cake or cake board. Please indicate the wordings correctly upon placing your order.
Please note that due to space constraint on the cake surface, lengthy wordings may not be accommodated.
Please ensure all contact details, personal information, spelling of names, design requirements, delivery & collection details and any requested changes have been properly documented on your cake confirmation.
If your wedding cake design requires fresh flowers, please note that some flowers are not suitable for use as cake decorations. Ask your florist for details regarding toxicity. We cannot be liable for any contamination to our food product that may arise from their misuse.
Regarding fresh or preserved flowers, I will use what is available at market on the day. I will accommodate your style and color as much as possible.
Changes in order:
Any changes related to the order must be made at least 14 days before the collection date.
Should the design change, we reserve the right to amend your costings accordingly, to reflect the changes required.
Order Cancellation :
As all our cakes are specially prepared for your order, we do not encourage any last-minute cancellation.
However, cancellation of the order is permitted under the following conditions: (except for wedding cakes)
- 14 days before date of collection:If given enough notice, we are happy to postpone your cake order and transfer all monies paid to the new date (minus the cost of any custom decorations already made or ordered). A credit voucher will be issued with 12 months validity from the original event date.
- 14 days or less date of collection: Advance payment is non-refundable.
Please note that refund of payment may take up to 4 weeks for us to process.
However, if Perfect Cakes have to cancel the order with you for any particular reason due to health, family or any situations out of our control, a full refund will be provided to you, as well as assistance in finding a suitable decorator with similar experience to complete your order.
If you are not happy with the order , you need to raise any concerns prior to pick up or accept the order at the delivery. No refunds for any damages that may occur to the cake once it has left our premises (whilst in your care) or after delivery to the venue.
If there is any issue with the order due to any reason, A partial refund can be considered only if you hand over the product as it is without any damage within the same or next business day. You must refrigerate the product until you return it.
Orders in advance:
Storage & Consumption:
All cakes are baked freshly and can be consumed up to 3 days after delivery if appropriately refrigerated. For the best taste, moistness and quality, we recommend our cakes be eaten on the day of delivery/pickup.
All cakes should be stored in a cool dark place on a flat sturdy surface
Fondant (the soft icing covering the cake) is not designed to be refrigerated and as such cakes with this icing should be stored in a cool dry place, preferable in the box they were supplied in. Refrigeration may cause colors to run/bleed. Please keep all cakes and figurines out of direct sunlight. Failure to store the cake correctly may result in colors fading, cracks or melting.
Avoid placing it in direct sunlight.
Refrigerated cakes must be brought back to room temperature before consuming.
It is best served at room temperature but be careful not to leave the cake out for too long on hot summer days. Please make sure the venue is air conditioned for summer weather.
Macarons need to be stored in a fridge and can last up to 3-4 days
All drip cakes has to be refrigerated at a low temperature as advised during the collection or delivery.
Allergies
All our cakes contain fresh eggs, wheat(gluten)and dairy products, so are not suitable for those suffering from intolerance or allergies to those particular foods.
Perfect Cakes will not be responsible for any allergy related issues.
It is the customer’s responsibility to inform guests of any risks
However, we do offer egg less and vegan options at a spacial request based on our availability and limitation . But please note that we process all of our products on the same machinery.
Non Edibles:
Please note that non-edible accessories such as brooches, ribbons, beads, feathers and food grade wires etc. are used to decorate some cakes or packaging at the client's request are not edible and must be removed from your cake before serving.
Edible cake toppers can contain food-safe wires, which have to be removed before consumption.
Perfect Cakes accepts no responsibility for any physical harm that may arise from their use.
Edible Images and Sugar Models
If you wish to supply a digital picture, we only accept via email. The quality of print is dependent on the quality of the photo you provided
The hiring of Additional Items:
If additional items are being hired from Perfect Cakes such as cake stands a security deposit will be required.
This is fully refundable on the safe and full return of the hired items.
All items must be returned within 3 days/2 nights of the pickup date.
Photographs
Perfect Cakes reserves the right to take and use photographs of your cake(s) and desserts, before, during and after set up, to use for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes, without compensation to you
Alcohol featured Cakes
Any alcohol featured on our Cakes are designed to be delivered as a genuine gift to a person and does not exceed two liters.The gift can only be ordered by an adult and delivered to another adult who is not the purchaser.
For all gifts with alcohol included, please ensure that the recipient is aged over 18 years and is available to receive the delivery (Proof of Age may be requested in certain circumstances)
Alcohol bottles need to be supplied by the customer in advance or at the pickup to place them on the cake
